Hot air ballon =owes its name to its inventor Joseph-Michel and Jacques-étienne Montgolfier (from which the name of hot-air ballon).
Aerostat with sustenance obtained by hot air,initially constituted by a ball of cotton fabric with a diameter of about 15 meters, then waterproof canvas content in a network from which hung a hamper. Soon abandoned,and replaced by gas ballons,which offered a longer flight ,from about 1960 was again popular as a means of sporting activity,throught the use of new materials (casings are made of synthetic fabrics robust and light) and new techniques (the heating of the air is obtained by means of a propane gas burner),and also used in the advertising field by showy decorations of casings.
